Supply impacts of climate change

The impact that climate change will have on an organisation's physical assets, human resources and activities depends on the specific changes to a wide range of environmental variables.

The relationships between climate change, environmental variables and their impacts are neither linear nor one-to-one, but are much more complex, with non-linear and feedback behaviour common. These relationships include links between not only climate, weather and the environment, but also between these and human systems including infrastructure, the broader built environment and social, economic and political systems.

In the BECCA Wiki, climate change impacts on infrastructure have been described under the 4 key environmental variables of:

Note that extreme events are covered through discussion of the different environmental variables that they may consist of.

It is also possible to find discussion of climate change impacts on specific types of assets or industries by using the category index or the A-Z index.
